Marcus Slaughter landed by Darussafaka

Darussafaka Dogus Istanbul (Turkey-TBL) is strengthening its roster for the 2015/16 season with the addition of Marcus Slaughter (204 cm, San Diego State’06). He spent the last three seasons on the roster of Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid. In 2014/15 Marcus contributed to the team as a reserve. He played 27 games for them in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague and averaged 3.0 ppg and 2.1 rpg. They eventually went on to win the Euroleague Championship in 2015. He appeared in 22 games in the Spanish Liga Endesa and there he notched averages of 3.0 ppg and 3.1 rpg. It was a very productive year for the franchise, adding to their list of achievements, the 2015 Copa del Rey and the Spanish league title.
