Marcus Morris traded to Phoenix Suns

Marcus Morris (203 cm, Kansas’11) of the Houston Rockets is joining his twin brother Markieff Morris (203 cm, Kansas’11) in the Phoenix Suns via a trade. The Rockets are sending Morris to the Suns in exchange for a future second-round draft pick. Marcus, who is a power forward with the ability to stretch the defense via his touch from the outside will fit well with Phoenix’s free-flowing offense.

Prior to the move, Morris has been playing off the Rockets’ bench and was averaging 8.6 ppg and 4.1 rpg for the season.

This move is seen as one to free up cap space for the Rockets who are still in the market for another star player to play alongside James Harden and Jeremy Lin.
