Marcus Faison to KTP Basket Kotka

Marcus Faison (196 cm, Siena’99) has signed a deal to play for KTP Basket Kotka for Finland’s Korisliiga. Faison, who is a holder of both a US and Belgian passport, was initially working to be signed by BK Grodno-93 from Belarus’ Premier League early this year. That didn’t work out and Faison has instead found a deal to play in Finland.

The 35-year-old Faison still has something left in his tank after playing a portion of the 2012-13 season with BC Armia Tbilisi from Georgia’s Superleague. He played six games for them in the EuroChallenge and averaged 6.3 ppg and 3.0 rpg. In 10 games playing in the Superleague, Faison averaged 8.9 ppg and 3.3 rpg.
