Marcelus Kemp leaves Venezuela

Marcelus Kemp (195 cm, Nevada’08) has agreed with Cocodrilos de Caracas from Venezuela’s LPB to depart the franchise after just two weeks with the team. The American shooting guard picked up an injury and the 28-year old will now return to the USA to undergo surgery. Kemp joined Caracas on April 8th but after picking up his injury he failed to make any appearances for the team.

Earlier in the season Marcelus Kemp was playing with Montepaschi Siena (Italy, Serie A) where he played three Euroleague games and recorded averages of 13.0 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. Last season Kemp was a part of the treble winning Fenerbache of Turkey as the team claimed victory in the Turkish League, Turkish Cup, and the Eurochallenge.
