Malcolm Delaney switches to Lokomotiv

Malcolm Delaney (191 cm, Virginia Tech’11) has parted ways with Bayern Munich and has signed for Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar (VTB League). The guard enjoyed a productive season in the German BBL and Euroleague with Bayern last season and was a key member of the roster. In the league he featured in 46 games and collected averages of 12.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game. In the Euroleague the American was equally solid and logged 13.9 points, 3.4 boards, and 4.5 dimes per game from 24 appearances.

Malcom Delaney joined Bayern Munich after a standout 2012/2013 season with Budivelnyk Kiev (Ukraine, Superleague). He played sixteen Eurocup games that season and averaged 16.1 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. Delaney has previously played the French ProA for ES Chalon-sur-Saone since graduating from Virginia Tech.
