Sudanese forward, Majok Deng (208 cm, La-Monroe’16) is set to begin his professional career this 2016 with a stint Down Under, after penning a deal with the Adelaide 36ers (Australia-NBL). The 23-year-old Deng saw 30 games in his senior year at La-Monroe and he managed to produce averages of 18.6 ppg and 7.0 rpg. He helped lead his team to the Sun Belt Tournament Finals this 2016 and was named to the Sun Belt All-Tournament Team as well as the NABC All-District 24 1st Team. He is currently penciled in as a starter for the 36ers and Majok will get a chance to earn his stripes in the Australian NBL this 2016-17 season.
