Luka Petkovic inks with Handlova

MBK Handlova (Slovakia-SBL) has acquired the services of Croatian player Luka Petkovic (190 cm) to reinforce their backcourt this 2014-15. Petkovic played for three teams in 2013-14. He began the season on the roster of GKK Sibenik (Croatia-A1), but played only one game where he managed to tally 13 points and four assists. Luka then transferred to Afra Khalij Fars from Iran’s Superleague in December 2013. He played 14 games for Afra Khalij and averaged 15.8 ppg and 3.3 rpg. In March 2014 he returned to Europe and signed with KK Tajfun Sentjur (Slovenia-Telemach League) and there he averaged 7.1 ppg and 3,8 apg in 10 games.
