Loukas Mavrokefalidis joins Lietuvos Rytas

 Loukas Mavrokefalidis Loukas Mavrokefalidis (207 cm) has agreed to terms on a deal with Lietuvos rytas Vilnius (Lithuania-LKL) this 2017-18 season and will be bolstering their frontcourt rotation. He is a Greek international basketball player who played for the Greek National Team from 2010 to 2013. His 2016-17 season began in Asia after signing with the Qingdao Double Star Eagles (China-CBA) in December 2016. Loukas played 19 games for the Chinese club and dropped averages of 20.2 ppg and 9.0 rpg. In February 2017 the big man headed to Europe and joined AEK Athens (Greece-A1). He played two games for them in the Basketball Champions League and averaged 11.0 ppg and 8.8 rpg. In 17 games in the Greek League, Mavrokeflidis recorded averages of 10.8 ppg and 4.3 rpg.
