Lorenzo Brown deals with Zheijiang

Lorenzo Brown Lorenzo Brown (196 cm, North Carolina State’13) is taking his game to China and has signed on to play for the Zheijiang Chouzhou Bank (China-CBA) this 2016-17. Brown was a participant in the Detroit Pistons preseason training camp, but did not make the cut. Having failed to receive any interest from other NBA teams Lorenzo has opted to sign with the Chinese team. He was released by the Minnesota Timberwolves at the beginning of the 2015-16 season and in November 2015, the guard penned a deal with the Grand Rapids Drive of the NBA D-League. He played a total of 25 games for the Drive and averaged 18.3 ppg and 5.8 apg. Brown was also called back up to the NBA by the Phoenix Suns and in eight games he posted averages of 2.5 ppg and 1.4 apg.
