Lino Lardo to coach in Lebanon

Italian coach Lino Lardo is set to take charge of Amchit from Lebanon’s Division A. Lardo is replacing Alen Abaz who is from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The 54-year-old Lardo last coached Acea Virtus Roma from Italy’s Serie A. He left Virtus Roma in January 2012, after coaching only a few games in the regular season. Prior to coaching Virtus Roma he was the head coach for two seasons (2009-2011) for Canadian Solar Bologna, also from Serie A. He had his best success as a coach in 2009 when he led Solsonica Rieti to the Italian Supercup Finals.
