After several seasons away, Larry O’Bannon (194 cm, Louisville’05) has found his way back to Maccabi Rishon Le-Zion (Israel-Winner League) this 2014-15. He played for them back in 2009-10. In 2013-14 Larry suited up for the Sharks Antibes (France-ProA) and in 15 games produced averages of 13.7 ppg and 3.5 rpg. In February 2014 the guard moved to Krasnie Krilya Samara (Russia-VTB). He played five games for them during their stint at the EuroChallenge and was able to average 10.8 ppg and 3.6 rpg. O’Bannon also logged 11 games in the VTB league and there he posted averages of 9.9 ppg and 3.5 rpg. Larry helped Krasnie Krilya reach the quarterfinals in both the EuroChallenge and VTB league in 2014.
