LaRon Dendy will play in Greece for Kolossos Rhodes

LaRon DendyLaRon Dendy has been signed a 2012-13 contract to play with Kolossos Rhodes in the Greek Basketball League. Dendy (2.05m, college: Middle Tennessee State) will start his professional career in Greece after a successful collegiate career at MTS, where he averaged 14.6 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.5 blocked shots and 27.2 minutes per game over 30 contests and was named the Sun Belt Conference player of the year. MTS won the Sun Belt Conference Championship behind Dendy’s leadership. Dendy played for the Washington Wizards NBA Summer League Team in Las Vegas, Nevada prior to being brought on by Kolossos.

    Whats with all the rookies signing in Greece..? Must be a reflection of the poor financial situation there.
