Kristjan Kangur to Openjobmetis Varese

Openjobmetis Varese (Italy-Serie A) is bringing in Kristjan Kangur (201 cm) to reinforce their roster for the remainder of the 2015-16 season. He is a 32-year-old veteran and has been a long-time member of the Estonian national team in 2003-13 and again in 2015. Kristjan is coming over from Laboral Kutxa Vitoria (Spain-Liga Endesa). He played in six Euroleague games for his former club and averaged 2.0 ppg and 1.8 rpg. In three games in the Spanish league he produced averages of 3.7 ppg and 3.3 rpg. He previously played for Openjobmetis Varese in 2014-15. In 17 games Kristjan was able to produce averages of 7.8 ppg and 6.2 rpg. His season was cut short, dealing with injuries.
