Kristaps Porzingis out for season with torn ACL

Kristaps Porzingis NBA – Kristaps Porzingis (221 cm) suffered a devastating injury during the Knicks’ game against the Bucks on Tuesday night. The 22-year-old Latvian big man has been ruled out for the remainder of the 2017-18 season after being diagnosed with a partial tear in his ACL.

This is awful news for both the young player and the franchise. Porzingis was being groomed as the team’s centerpiece in their rebuilding process. He made a significant jump in production this season before going down with the injury, averaging 22.9 ppg, 6.7 rpg, and 2.4 bpg.
