Kostas Kaimakoglou stays with Unics Kazan

Kostas Kaimakoglou (206 cm) will continue his relationship with Unics Kazan (Russia, VTB League and Euroleague) it has been announced. The power forward has been with the Russian outfit for the last two seasons and has extended his deal for another year. The Greek national featured in twenty VTB League games last season and logged averages of 11.6 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. He was also in action in the Eurocup and played 22 games and collected 8.0 points and 4.8 rebounds per appearance.

Kostas Kaimakoglou had played in the Greek A1 before heading to Russia, representing such teams as Panathinaikos Athens and Marousi BC. The 31-year old won both the Greek league and the Euroleague in 2011 while playing for Panathinaikos.
