Kieron Achara signs for Kavala

Kieron Achara (208 cm, Duquesne’08) has signed in Greece with Kavala, or “ENOSI KALATHOSFAIRISIS KAVALAS” which is the official name. The forward started the season in his native Schotland, where he had an “open contract” with the Glasgow Rocks. With them Achara averaged 17 ppg and 8.3 rpg in the BBL. He joins a Greek team that has had a turbulent start of the season and is in desperate need of reinforcement. They are currently 2^nd from the bottom in the Greek league with a 2-8 record. Kieron Achara played in the Spanish ACB last season and averaged 6.0 ppg and 3.5 rpg with Manresa. Previously he played three seasons in Italy.
