Kevin Houston agrees to terms with Elan Chalon

Kevin HoustonKevin Houston (178 cm, Long Beach State’07) has signed on to finish the season with Elan Chalon-Sur-Saone (France-ProA). He was most recently in the uniform of Al Moutahed Tripoli (Lebanon-Division A) and had averaged 12.5ppg and 5.0apg over the first two contests of the young season. Last year he was in France playing for STB Le Havre (France-ProA) where he averaged 9.9 points and 3.1 assists in 7 games and Cholet (France-ProA) where he was in four contests and contributed 3.8ppg. He started the 2011-12 season with Cytavision Apoel Nicosia (Cyprus-Divison A) and averaged 11.7 points per game over nine games. Houston is a four-year member of the Long Beach State squad, where he finished his career in fourth place on the assists leader board in the Big West Conference with 423. He lead the Big West in assists his season year with 139. Houston and his family have already arrived in Paris and will be in attendance for the Elan Chalon contest with Cholet this evening. The club expects him to be cleared to suit up and contribute in their Euroleague match up with Alba Berlin on Thursday.
