Kenny Gabriel opts for Karsiyaka

Pinar Karsiyaka SK Izmir of the Turkish TBL added Kenny Gabriel (209 cm, Auburn’12) to the team roster for the 2014/2015 season. The power forward is heading to Turkey after a season with Greek A1 outfit A.G.O Rethymno Aegean and it will be his first time in the TBL. The American played 26 games for A.G.O in the A1 last term and collected averages of 12.8 points per game, while Gabriel was also the best rebounder in the league with an average of 9.8 boards per game.

Kenny Gabriel has previous experience in New Zealand playing for NBL franchise The Good Home Taranaki Mountain Airs during the 2012/2013 season. The 24-year old averaged 15.9 points and 9.1 rebounds from his fourteen games. Gabriel has also featured for Maccabi Ashdod in the Israeli Premier League and Limassol in the Cyprus Division A.
