Kenny Gabriel moves to Panathinaikos

Kenny Gabriel (209 cm, Auburn’12) is making his way to Greek club Panathinaikos Athens (Greece-A1) this 2016-17 after starting the season on the roster of Lokomotiv Kuban (Russia-VTB). Gabriel played five games for his former team in the Eurocup and was able to average 6.8 ppg and 2.2 rpg. He also appeared in five games in the VTB United League and there he notched averages of 3.8 ppg and 4.2 rpg.

Kenny spent his 2015-16 season with Pinar Karsiyaka SK Izmir (Turkey-BSL). In 10 Euroleague games he produced averages of 9.7 ppg and 4.6 rpg. Gabriel played eight games in the Eurocup and averaged 12.0 ppg and 3.6 rpg. Lastly, in 33 games in the Turkish league, the big man secured averages of 11.8 ppg and 6.5 rpg.
