Justinas Olechnavicius joins Barsy Atyrau

Barsy Atyrau (Kazakhstan-Higher League) has added Lithuanian player Justinas Olechnavicius (193 cm) for the 2014-15 season. This will be Justinas’ first signing outside of his home Lithuania. This will be a new experience for the 20-year-old project and he will get much needed exposure to further develop and improve his game. He will be coming off the bench for the 2014 Kazakhstan league finalists this coming season. He played for BC Siauliai (Lithuania-LKL) in 2013-14. He played just one game for them in the Lithuanian league, but was only on the floor for one minute, failing to score or grab a rebound. He logged seven games for them in the Baltic league and averaged 0.3 ppg and 0.4 rpg.
