Joshua Shipp leaves Bamberg

Joshua Shipp (196 cm, UCLA’09) has reached and agreement and decided to leave Brose Basket Bamberg (Germany, BBL) after two months. The German powerhouse is once again in the hunt for the BBL title and has brought in the American to bolster the roster, but it has not been a fruitful stint. Shipp is a swingman who played for Turk Telekom Ankara (Turkey, TBL) last season, where he played in 29 games and averaged 11.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game.

Since leaving UCLA in 2009, Joshua Shipp has had a long association with Turkish Basketball and has played all of his pro seasons in the TBL for giants such as Galatasaray and Anadolu Efes.
