Jon Diebler inks with Anadolu Efes

Jon Diebler (198 cm, Ohio State’11) will be joining Anadolu Efes Istanbul (Turkey-TBL) for the upcoming 2015/16 season. The 27-year-old Diebler is playing for a new team, but is not unfamiliar with his surroundings. He played the last three seasons for Pinar Karsiayaka SK Izmir (Turkey-TBL). He played 20 games for them in the Eurocup and averaged 14.5 ppg and 3.9 rpg, reaching the competition’s quarterfinals. Jon also played 42 games in the Turkish league and there he produced averages of 13.0 ppg and 3.5 rpg, helping them win the Turkish league championship in 2015.
