Joey Dorsey joins Galatasaray

Galatasaray Liv Hospital Istanbul (Turkey-TBL) has brought in veteran Joey Dorsey (206 cm, Memphis’08) to strengthen their roster this 2015/16. Joey was recently released by the Denver Nuggets. He served as a reserve player for the Houston Rockets in 2014/15. The 32-year-old played 75 games for the Rockets last season and posted averages of 2.5 ppg and 3.8 rpg. Dorsey makes his return to Europe this season after his brief stint in the NBA.

In 2013/14 he played for FC Regal Barcelona (Spain-Liga Endesa). He appeared in 29 games in the Euroleague and averaged 5.3 ppg and 5.9 rpg. Dorsey also logged 44 games in the Spanish league and there he averaged 5.1 ppg and 5.2 rpg.
