JianLian Yi back in the NBA

JianLian Yi The Los Angeles Lakers have reached an agreement with JianLian Yi (212 cm). It appears that the Chinese big man will be making his return to the NBA. The deal is reportedly worth $8 million. He recently represented China in a winless run in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. He’s been with the Chinese national team since 2006.

Yi last saw action in the NBA back in 2012 with the Dallas Mavericks. For the last four seasons JianLian has been a cornerstone player for the Guangdong Southern Tigers from China’s CBA. In 2015-16 he played 45 games for the Southern Tigers and produced solid averages of 26.4 ppg and 9.1 rpg.
