Jerrelle Benimon joins Foshan

The Foshan Long Lions (China-CBA) continued their signing of foreign players. Most recently they have added Jerrelle Benimon (203 cm, Towson’14). He headed to China after failing to secure a deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Benimon had a rough 2014/15 season. He started it off by being released by the Denver Nuggets in October 2014, then a month later he signed with D-League team the Idaho Stampede. He was briefly called up by the Utah Jazz where he played one game. Benimon eventually returned to the Stampede. In total, Jerrelle logged 44 games for the Idaho Stampede and was able to post averages of 19.8 ppg and 11.0 rpg.
