Jeff Ayres now with CSKA Moscow

Jeff Ayres  Jeff Ayres (206 cm, Arizona State’09) has agreed to terms on a deal to play for Russian powerhouse CSKA Moscow (Russia-VTB) this coming 2016-17 season. This will be his first time around the block to play for a European club. Jeff saw the end of his NBA career in 2015-16 after a 19-game run with the Los Angeles Clippers. He averaged 1.7 ppg and 1.2 rpg. Ayres then made his way to the NBA D-League where he signed with the Idaho Stampede. In 26 games the forward produced averages of 16.6 ppg and 9.0 rpg. He logged two games for the Los Angeles D-Fenders and posted averages of 16.5 ppg and 13.0 rpg.
