Jayson Granger moves to Unicaja Malaga

Jayson Granger (186 cm) will be playing for Spain’s Unicaja Malaga (Liga Endesa) this 2013-14 season. He makes the move after playing three seasons for played for Asefa Estudiantes Madrid (Spain-Liga Endesa). His familiarity with the country and the league should be a plus and he should not have any difficulties adjusting to his new team.

The Uruguay-born player also has American citizenship thanks to his heritage. He was a member of the Uruguay National Team in 2009 and 2012.

In 2012-13 Granger and averaged 11.0 ppg and 3.4 apg in 34 games. In 2011-12 he 10.4 ppg and 3.8 apg in 32 games in the Liga Endesa.
