Jason Robinson leaves Valencia

American Jason Robinson (196 cm, Pikeville’03) has parted ways with Valencia Basket (Spain, ACB) after two months with the club. The forward signed with Valencia from Argentinian Liga A team Gimnasia Indalo Esgr Comodoro Rivadavia in early April but found minutes hard to come by with the Spanish team. The 32-year old averaged 14.9 minutes on the court and logged numbers of 3.6ppg and 2.1rpg over 8 games.

Earlier in the season Jason Robinson played 50 times with Rivadavia and managed to average 13.0ppg, 3.7rpg, and 1.3apg in the Argentinian top flight. Robinson has previously played in Uruguay, Portugal, and South Korea as well as numerous stints in Spain with Valencia-Gandia (LEB Gold, 2008-2009), Melilla (LEB Gold, 2009-2010), and Blancos Valladolid (ACB, 2010-2012).
