Jamie Vanderbeken joins Glasgow Rocks

Jamie Vanderbeken (210 cm, Iowa St. ’11) has been signed by Glasgow Rocks (United Kingdom-BBL) to replace recently released Owen McNally (203 cm, Spring Hill ’10). Vanderbeken was most recently with Hebraica Macabi (Uruguay-LUB), but was released after seven games in the Uruguayan LUB averaging 9.6 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. He suited up for Panionios ON Telecoms Athens (Greece-A1) in 2011-12, but moved to the Bakersfield Jam in Jan, 2012, averaging 4.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per game over 31 games. Vanderbeken played three years with Iowa State and was a member of Canadian National Team in 2011.
