James Washington added by Solna Vikings

James Washington (182 cm, Middle Tennessee State’11) will be making his return to Sweden this 2014-15 after penning a deal with the Solna Vikings (Basketligan). The 26-year-old guard began the 2013-14 season in the same league, bolstering the backcourt of KFUM Nassjo Basket (Sweden-Basketligan). He was able to play in 36 games in the Swedish league and averaged 17.0 ppg and 3.9 apg. In March 2014 James headed to Belgium to play for VOO Wolves Verviers-Pepinster (Belgium-Ethias League) and there he logged nine games and posted averages of 13.1 ppg and 2.8 apg. In 2012-13 he was in Germany playing in the Pro B league for BG Topstar Leitershofen/Stadtbergen. In 15 games he delivered averages of 20.0 ppg and 4.5 apg.
