James Nunnally back in Europe, lands with Armani

James Nunnally

James Nunnally (201 cm, UCSB’12) is making his way back to Europe as January winds to a close this time by way of a deal with AX Armani Exchange Milano (Italy-Serie A).

Nunnally was originally set to ink with Kirolbet Baskonia Vitoria (Spain-Liga Endesa) but then got called up to the NBA by the Houston Rockets who were reeling from an attack of the injury bug. It was a 10-day contract and unfortunately it was not renewed by the team as they eventually landed Kenneth Faried. He played two games for the Rockets and averaged 4.5 ppg and 1.0 apg.

Before he agreed to terms with Vitoria, he played 13 games for the Wolves in 2018-19 before his departure and registered averages of 2.1 ppg and 0.4 apg
