James Mathis gets 6-week deal from Lille

American forward James Mathis (200 cm, Niagra’06) received a six week replacement contract from French Pro B team Lille Metropole Basket. The 30-year-old veteran played for BBC Monthey from Switzerland’s LNA in 2013-14. Mathis played 28 games for the Swiss club and  was able to post averages of 16.0 ppg and 9.3 rpg. He is not unfamiliar with the French Pro B league at all. In 2012-13 James played for Hermine Nantes Atlantique (France-ProB). In 28 games he presented averages of 15.4 ppg and 7.7 rpg. The season before that he was with SO Maritime Boulogne and in 37 games averaged 10.9 ppg and 6.5 rpg.
