Jamar Diggs joins Apoel

Jamar Diggs (187 cm, Wofford’11) signed with Cytavision Apoel Nicosia from Cyprus’ Division A. This is the Wofford alum’s return to Cyprus after a brief 20-game run playing in Latvia.

Diggs started the 2012-13 season playing for Papa Johns Omonia Nicosia (Cyprus-Division A) where he averaged 15.3 ppg, 6.9 rpg, and 4.8 apg in 17 games. In February 2013 he moved to BK Barons Kvartals Riga from Latvia’s LBL. Diggs played eight games for Barons Kvartals in the Baltic League and averaged 11.8 ppg and 3.5 apg. He also played 20 games in the Latvian league and there he hit averages of 14.3 ppg and 5.0 rpg.
