Jack Cooley inks for Trabzonspor

Trabzonspor Basketbol (Turkey, TBL) announced the addition of Jack Cooley (206 cm, Notre Dame ’13) to the roster for the coming season. The American is entering professional Basketball for the first time after finishing his senior college year with Notre Dame at the end of last season. The young forward will be looking to make an impact in Europe with a Trabzonspor team that was promoted from the TBL2 last season.

Jack Cooley will be heading into the season in fine touch. The 22-year old was in great form during the recent NBA Pro Summer League in Las Vegas where he represented the Memphis Grizzlies. Over six games he impressed with averages of 15.0 points and 9.2 rebounds per game and will likely look on a stay in Europe as a potential stepping stone to the NBA.
