Hordur Vilhjalmsson (194 cm) is joining Bondi Ferrara (Italy-Serie A2). The Italian team brings in Vilhjalmsson for his ability to shoot from deep and distribute to his teammates for points. This season with Keflavik (Iceland-Dominos League), the guard scored 15.7 ppg while shooting 30.5 percent from three. He also recorded 6.8 apg and 5.3 rpg in his 24 games in the Icelandic league. Vilhjalmsson (194 cm)

Vilhjalmsson has yet to play in Italy in his career. However, he does have experience playing in Germany, Spain, and Belgium since going pro in the 2004/2005 season. The 28-year-old Icelandic most recently played in Europe with Limburg United (Belgium-Euromillions League) at the beginning of this season. In five games he found 21.4 mpg but only managed to score 4.8 ppg while shooting 17.6 percent from three.

His new team hopes Vilhjalmsson can hit more of his three-point opportunities to help finish the season. Currently, Bondi Ferrara is 12th in the Eastern division of the Serie A2 standings with an 11-17 record.
