Icelandic player Hoerdur Vilhjamsson (196 cm) is set to make his return to German Bundesliga team Mitteldeutscher BC Weissenfels this 2014-15 season. Hoerdur has been a member of the Icelandic National Team in 2009 and again in 2012-13.
Vilhjamsson previously played for MBC from 2011-2013. His hiatus from the team led him to a spot on the roster of Spanish Liga Endesa team Blancos de Rueda Valladolid in the 2013-14 season. The guard was used as a reserve on the Spanish club and he was able to average 3.7 ppg and 1.1 apg in 27 games.
In his last stint with Mitteldeutscher Vilhjamsson averaged 9.6 ppg and 3.0 apg through 34 games, back when the club was in the German Pro A.
