Haminn Quaintance signed by Karhu Kauhajoki

Haminn Quaintance (201 cm, Kent State’08) is set to play for Karhu Kauhajoki from Finland’s Koriliiga. He is being brought in as a replacement for injured Tremane Ford (206 cm, California State-Northridge’09).

Quaintance was recently released by UMF Skallagrimur Borganes (Iceland-Dominos League). In 12 games for Skallagrimur, the 28-year-old averaged a double-double with 20.0 ppg and 12.9 rpg.

Quaintance has played for quite a number teams around the world. He played in Australia in 2011 for the Frankston Blues and just before that he played two games for BBC Bayreuth from Germany’s BBL. He played the 2009-2010 season in the D-League for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers after two seasons in Israel.
