Gary Flowers to Ironi Nes-Ziona

Gary Flowers (203 cm, Southern Mississippi’11) will be joining recent Israeli Winner League addition, Ironi Nes-Ziona for the 2013-14 season. In 2012-13 Flowers played for the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the NBA D-League. In 46 games he averaged 14.7 ppg and 6.5 rpg.

In 2011-12 Gary began his rookie season with Eisbaeren Bremerhaven from Germany’s BBL, but lasted only until the end of the pre-season. He later moved to KAO Dramas from Greece’s A1 league and logged six games, averaging 10.7 ppg and 6.7 rpg. In December 2011 he signed with the Los Angeles D-Fenders. He played 17 games for them and averaged 4.1 ppg and 1.8 rpg. He helped them finish as the D-League Western Conference Champions, making the D-League Finals in 2012.
