Gabe Pruitt inks with Rethymno

Gabe Pruitt (193 cm, USC’07) has signed with Greek A1 team AGO Rethymno from D-League outfit Maine Red Claws (USA). Pruitt has spent the 2012-2013 season in the D-League, firstly with Sioux Falls Skyfall where he played 34 games and averaged 6.5ppg, 2.1rpg, and 2.3apg. The point guard then joined with Maine Red Claws in March but his short stint has ended after just 4 games.

Gabe Pruitt will bring NBA experience with him to the Greek A1 after the 27-year old played 47 games with the Boston Celtics during the 2008-2009 regular season. The move to Greece will be only the second time that Pruitt has played outside of the USA after a stint in Israel for the 2010-2011 season.
