Filip Videnov signs with Arak

Filip Videnov (196 cm, Western Kentucky’03) has taken his game to Iran this 2017 and has landed with Shahrdary Arak (Iran-Superleague). The Bulgarian international player has already played his first game for his new and Filip was able to contribute 20 points and seven rebounds in a win over Chemidor.

Videnov joins Arak after having played most of the 2016-17 season with Lukoil Academic Sofia (Bulgaria-NBL). He played a dozen games for them in the FIBA Europe Cup where he averaged 9.2 ppg and 3.4 rpg. He also played a couple of games in the Basketball Champions League, there he notched averages of 8.0 ppg and 1.5 rpg. In 15 games in the Bulgarian league, Videnov posted averages of 8.9 ppg and 1.9 rpg.
