FIBA Eurobasket 2017 Qualifiers Set to Tip-off

Just like that, we come full circle. The 2016 Rio Olympics have come and gone and now we look ahead to the beginning of another basketball cycle. The FIBA Eurobasket 2017 Qualifiers tip off on Wednesday and no less than 13 games will greet basketball fans on the opening night of the group phase of the tournament. 27 countries have been divided into seven groups to start the event.

The four host nations of Finland, Israel, Turkey, and Romania are already awaiting who will advance to the next stage.

At the end of the Group Phase, the top teams from each group will advance along with four of the best second-placing teams.
