Erik Murphy deals with Besiktas

Erik Murphy (208 cm, Florida’13) is on his way to Turkey to play for TBL club Besiktas Integral Forex Istanbul next season. The American-Finnish player spent 2014/2015 pre-season with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics in the NBA, but later moved to the Austin Toros in the D-League. With the Toros Erik Murphy played 55 games and collected averages of 11.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game.

During the 2013/2014 season the power forward was on the roster of the Chicago Bulls and helped the NBA franchise over nineteen games. He later moved to the Utah Jazz (NBA) in April but did not feature at all for the team.
