Eric Boateng signed by La Union

Argentinian LigaA club La Union Formosa has landed Eric Boateng (208 cm, Arizona State’10) for the 2013-14 season. Boateng is a British-Ghanaian big man who has been a member of the British National Team in 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2013.

Eric played in the German Bundesliga for the 2012-13 season as a member of the New Yorker Phantoms Braunschweig. In 31 games as he averaged 7.7 ppg and 2.2 rpg. In 2011-12 his season with Greek team DASH Peristeri GS Athens was cut short due to an injury and he was unable to continue playing for the team. He was able to log seven games before being sidelined and averaged 8.4 ppg and 4.1 rpg.
