Edgar Sosa signs with Sassari

Edgar Sosa (190 cm, Louisville’10) from the Dominican Republic has signed a deal to play for Banco di Sardegna Sassari (Italy-SerieA) this 2014-15 season. He has been a long time member of the Dominican Republic National Team, starting from 2005-06, then again in 2011-2013. The 26-year-old Sosa spent the 2013-14 season playing for Ratiopharm Ulm (Germany-BBL). He played in 15 games for them in the Eurocup and averaged 11.5 ppg and 3.9 apg.  Edgar also played in 34 games in the German Bundesliga and there he posted averages of 10.8 ppg and 2.7 apg. He also helped his club make a finals appearance in the German Bundesliga Cup in 2014.
