Dwight Burke signs with Siauliai

American power forward Dwight Burke (202 cm, Marquette’09) has penned a deal to join the roster at BC Siauliai (Lithuania, LKL and Baltic League) until the end of the season. Burke is heading to Siauliai from Slovakian outfit Nova Ves (Extraliga) where he has played 26 games since joining at the start of the season. During those games he posted solid averages of 15.6ppg with 7.8rpg and 1.3apg.

Last season the 26-year old played with BK Nova Hut Ostrava (Czech Republic, NBL) where he played 28 games and averaged 13.5ppg, 7.6rpg, and 1.0apg. Siauliai is currently experiencing an average season in the LKL lying in 7th in the standings with a 6-7 record. In the Baltic League things are going more smoothly with the team topping Group H with a 4-2 record.
