D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera joining Koroivos

D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera (191 cm, Georgetown ’16) is on his way to join ASA Koroivos (Greece-A1). The 24-year-old guard began his professional career with the Windy City Bulls (D-League) this 2016-17 season and played there for six games. After being waived by the Bulls, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (D-League) picked him up. The Mad Ants waived Smith-Rivera three days after signing him. He suited up for the team for one game where he played one minute.

Smith-Rivera showed to be a prolific scorer last season at Georgetown. During his senior year, the guard scored 16.2 ppg on 50.8 percent shooting from inside the arch, and 33 percent from three. He was honored with second team All-Big East. He declared for the NBA draft following his strong senior season but went undrafted.
