Dustin Mitchell, added by Giessen 46ers

Dustin Mitchell (206 cm, Wisconsin-Whitewater’10) will be playing in Germany’s Bundesliga this coming 2013-14 season for the LTi Giessen 46ers. Mitchell suffered an unfortunate injury in February 2013. He went down with a torn Achilles tendon. He was only able to play four games for the BiG Oettinger Rockets Gotha (Germany-ProA) and averaged 6.5 ppg and 1.8 rpg.

He joined the German club after a two-game stint playing for the McDonalds Manawatu Jets from New Zealand’s NBL. In that short run he averaged 10.0 ppg and 7.5 rpg.

In 2011-12 he played for KK Lirija from FYR Macedonia’s Superleague, where he played 13 games and there he hit averages of 14.0 ppg and 8.2 rpg.
