Former NBA first-round draft pick Dorell Wright has left BC Igokea after a short stint with the ABA League team.
In the ABA League, the 34-year-old American forward appeared in eight games for the Bosnian club this season. He averaged 3.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists.
It was Wright’s second stint with Igokea. He played in four games for the club in the 2017-18 season before joining German squad Brose Bamberg. He’s also plied his craft in China and Russia.
The 210-cm Wright’s pro career began in 2004. He was the 19th overall pick in that year’s NBA Draft out of high school. He competed for the Miami Heat, Golden State Warriors, Portland Trail Blazers and Philadelphia 76ers, appearing in 549 regular-season NBA games. He was part of the Heat’s 2005-06 title-winning squad.
