Donar Groningen bags another Dutch Cup title

Donar Groningen flexed its proverbial muscles again over the weekend. The Dutch powerhouse just captured its third Dutch Cup title this 2017. They came away with a 78-58 blowout win over Landstede Basketbal Zwolle.

The three-time Dutch league champions got big games from Lance Jeter and Arvin Slagter who dropped 16 points each.

Zwolle busted out of the gates with a 10-0 lead. They didn’t have a lot of time to enjoy their lead however as Groningen came back firing and managed to cut into the gap soon enough.

Things swung back and forth through the first three quarters but in the fourth and final frame, Groningen exploded for a massive rally and locked the momentum in their favor until the final whistle sounded.
