Donald Lawson moves to Vechta

German Pro A veteran Donald Lawson (208 cm, Western Michigan’10) will remain in the league, but will be suiting up for a new team this 2014-15, opting to join SC Rasta Vechta (Germany-ProA). The 26-year-old big man is being brought in to strengthen the team’s frontcourt and is already penciled in as their starting center for the upcoming season. He has played the last four seasons for BV Chemnitz 99 (Germany-ProA), joining the club straight out of college. In 2013-14 he played 30 games for Chemnitz and was able to produce averages of 9.7 ppg and 9.4 rpg. In 2012-13 he averaged 11.0 ppg and 10.3 rpg in 26 games.
